Undergraduate History Conference and keynote address, April 5-6

The Department of History invites you to its annual Undergraduate History Conference!

Keynote speaker Prof. Britta McEwen will discuss “Feelings and Fascism: Using the History of Emotions to Explore 1930s Europe” on Friday, April 5, at 5 p.m. in Founders Hall 163.

Britta McEwen is an Associate Professor of History and Director of the Women’s and Gender Studies Program at Creighton University. Her research areas include gender and sexuality, history of emotions, and modern Austria. Learn more about Dr. McEwen’s work here.  

On Saturday, April 6, students will present their research projects in Founders Hall 108 from 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Contact the History Department at histdept@humboldt.edu for a copy of the program.
