5) Global Connections Club
GCC provides a welcoming environment for both domestic and International students to hang out, make friends, share their culture, and expand their knowledge to other cultures. Meetings for this Fall 2022 semester are Thursdays from 5-6 p.m. at the Social Justice, Equity, and Inclusion Center (Balabanis House). Our activities in the meetings could be language exchanges, movie nights, and playing cards using languages. Potential events planned for next semester are fashion shows, music nights and so on!

6) Reminder: Free History writing tutors
The History Department is offering FREE WRITING TUTORS to any student enrolled in a History class this fall! Writing Tutors can assist with crafting a thesis, proofreading, choosing correct grammar, and understanding how to effectively structure an essay, research paper, slideshow, or any other writing assignment. Reach out today to one of our Certified Writing Aces (not a real thing, but it sounds impressive), Dakota Adelmann (dma89@humboldt.edu) and Ian Jones (ij17@humboldt.edu)! Please contact them directly to make an appointment.
