3) Humboldt County commission vacancies
Several county commissions, including the Human Rights Commission, could use younger volunteers to serve. The Humboldt County Board of Supervisors establishes advisory boards, commissions, and committees to represent and make recommendations to the Supervisors on various topics. The Board appoints persons to these commissions to represent individual Board members or in an at-large (county-wide) capacity. A list of the commissions with descriptions of their mandate can be found here. Contact Tracy D'Amico at the Clerk of the Board's office for more information about these committees, rosters, and vacancies or contact guy.aronoff@humboldt.edu
