History Conference

The Humboldt Student History Conference creates a scholarly and collegial setting for students to present their research to their peers, the History faculty, and the public. The History Department arranges for a scholar from outside the area to deliver a keynote address on a Friday evening, and students present their papers on the following Saturday. Students who will be presenting papers enroll in History 394 and receive 1 unit of credit. They meet ahead of time with the faculty member serving as the instructor/convener. The Student History Conference is held once per year, in the Spring semester.
